Finally to solve that prob that music is Greek. For scales go to learn about Pythagoras and Damaskinos and turks go ta ask your musician theorist about Harsiz Petros. You had music of him on you religion i think. So tuskish and greek music are the same. Turks and Greeks leaves together for ages. But i need to say a thanks to turks cos saved my music and i want to blame greek musician where they disaster my music and learn me to listen Bach, mozart and all these poor music.

you need to learn more about music history, and probably about history in general. this is not arabian music. but it is possible that it is the root of both arabian and european music.

my dear friend..u must understand that we r in the middle.when we started building byzantine music there was no islam.there were only the "ways" of each area-region-nation or whatever.u can ask the arabs about their bases of their culture and of course music and they can tell u smtng about greece.i remind u also that for ages and ages when turkey was not existing,greeks were living in today's turkey and also i remind u that we travelled a lot even up to central asia.now figure out
