isent the two components of placenta the maternal (decidual basalis) & fetal parts (chorion). and the vilus is formed by cytotrophoblast that sends chords of mases into the trophoblastic lacune (syncytiotrophoblast). and these function as a blood-placental barrier 1.syncytium 2 cytotrophoblast 3. ct 4. endothelium? and can u say thet the primary villus is the one not containing and artery & v. while the tertiary villus does due to migration of mesenchymal cells. what about anchoring villus?? | |
